About Lawrence Jackson

Lawrence has been involved in the financial services industry since 1997 specializing in personal financial planning, estate planning, risk management and retirement account management.  He has developed and implemented customized financial plans for hundreds of individuals and families utilizing his knowledge of tax and investment strategies in areas including:  Asset Allocation & Diversification, Investment Management, Portfolio Reviews, Retirement Planning, Tax & Estate Planning, Education Planning, Charitable Planning and Insurance & Risk Management. 

 

Throughout his career, he has built a reputation of integrity and honesty in providing hundreds of clients with the financial security and freedom they need to enjoy life.  He has been recognized for his strong work ethic and an unfailing commitment to focus on client’s interests first. 

He is an alumnus of Virginia Tech, a graduate of Bridgewater College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Regent University.

Lawrence moved his family to Virginia Beach in 1984 to attend Regent University.  Upon graduation, he became a Clinical Therapist working in an outpatient substance abuse clinic in Portsmouth, Virginia.  In 1997, he joined a national financial services firm as a Financial Adviser.  However, as a captive agent, he found himself limited in his ability to provide the best for his clients.  So, after 15 years in the industry, he joined cfd Investments, Inc. in 2014 as an independent Financial Adviser to have an unlimited access to the technology, products and services his clients need.

He and his wife are active members of First Baptist Church in Norfolk where they are small group leaders.Lawrence and his wife, Sandra, have resided in Virginia Beach since 1984.  He and his wife have three children and two grandchildren.  He enjoys family time, serving in the church, hunting, fishing and exploring family history.
